Anna Higham

My name is Anna Higham.  I work at Barrow Hill Primary School in Chesterfield where I lead an EYFS unit.   I work with the Derbyshire local authority as an Early Years Lead Teacher, EYFS moderator and I join their Planning, Observation and Assessment training team, sharing how the unit at Barrow Hill runs with delegates on their training days.
I am also Read Write Inc. manager.  I have run Read Write Inc twilight training for a supply agency and several local schools.  I have also run INSET training on Read Write Inc.
My other role at Barrow Hill is SENCO.

Chris House

Christine House is an Early Years teacher at Pinxton Village Infant Schools Federation, with a mixed class of Reception and Year 1 pupils. She is also PHSE co-ordinator for the Federation. She has been a teacher for 26 years and has experience teaching Foundation Stage, Key stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Christine has taught in a range of settings in Inner London. Stockport and Derbyshire. She has been a Leading Mathematics Teacher for Derbyshire and is now a SLE for the National College. She has had experience in Senior Leadership including several years as a Teaching Head in a small rural Primary School.

She has been an Associate Lecturer with the University of Derby for several years, teaching on the Masters in Education Pathway; and has two Masters Degrees one in Early Years Education. She has recently delivered training in Diversity for Stonewall and is also a facilitator for the Women’s Aid Helping Hands protective behaviour programme for children.

Rachel Watson

Rachel Watson is an Assistant Headteacher at Stubbin Wood Special School in Derbyshire. As part of her current role she is Head of Middle School, Assessment and Recording Co-ordinator, Science Co-ordinator, Transition co-ordinator and has joint responsibility for the on-going professional development of the Teaching Assistants within the school.
She has worked with a number of schools across Derbyshire on both a formal and informal basis with regards assessment since joining Stubbin Wood in 2010. Furthermore she has provided a number of training events either for individual schools or the Derbyshire Special Schools collectively with regards assessment.  In addition to this Rachel carries out the cross-school data analysis for the Special Schools in Derbyshire and has been responsible for organising Special School moderation events annually.
Rachel began her teaching career in 2005, having qualified with a degree in Primary Education and a specialism of Science. She took her first job in a Special School in Doncaster and as a result of this role decided to undertake an MA in Autism, which she successfully completed in 2011. Rachel continues to take part in continual professional development activities and remains keen to develop her own skills and knowledge whilst supporting others.
