Sharon James has been the Head Teacher at Bramley Vale Primary School since January 2008. The school was graded as good overall in March 2017 and was designated as a National Support School in November 2016.
She has been an NLE since November 2016 and was an LLE for three years previously. She has supported a number of Infant, Junior and Primary schools in Derbyshire and Sheffield in a variety of ways, including supporting new Headteachers and improving outcomes for disadvantaged children through pupil premium reviews. Since 2014 Sharon has worked on behalf of Derbyshire as an Associate School Advisor supporting local schools with accurate self-assessment, including identifying and prioritising whole school developments and supporting those schools to improve further.
Sharon, her leadership team and staff can offer support in a variety of ways including: Early Years assessment and provision, improving outcomes for children with Special Educational Needs and Disadvantaged children, Assessment and Tracking, and systems of appraisal.
