At Pinxton Village Infant Schools our aim is to provide learning opportunities to which pupils respond with enthusiasm and commitment. Our lessons are taught by committed teachers, who provide experiences which cater for the individual needs of their pupils. This enables our pupils to be motivated, independent learners ready for their next stage of education. The policy that enables all staff to understand the minimum expectations at PVIS is called ‘Setting the Climate for Learning’. Our minimum expectation is Outstanding!
Attendees will hear how this policy has evolved based on action research. Evidence of what it looks like in her settings and support course attendees to reflect on how ideas can be translated into other settings.
